Rushcutters Bay Boot Camp
Hey Guys,
Monday's Boot Camp @ Rushcutters Bay is Cardio Day! I hope you haven't been out partying this weekend coz tomorrows gonna be good'n.
Here's what we have planned…
Exercise 1 – Sprint Pyramid
Split camp into pairs of a similar fitness level
Set out 4 cones 25 metres apart
30-45 second recovery between sprints
Each partner will stand at opposite ends and on the mark will sprint to the opposite end to beat their partner.
4 x 25 metres
3 x 50 metres
2 x 75 metres
1 x 100 metres
Jog for 5 minutes at a slow pace (active recovery).
Exercise 2 – Ladders
Keep camp in the same pairs
Have each two person team race to see who can complete their 9 rep ladder first.
Ladders is where team members take turns completing their reps
First team that finishes the 9 reps calls out to the rest of the camp and everyone begins the next exercise
1. Push ups
2. Squat
3. Sit ups
4. Lunges
5. Dips
Exercise 3 – Indian run
Split camp into 2 teams
Have 2 teams stand in Indian file (straight line one after another)
Run 10 metres, on call person at the back sprints to the front
Repeat for 5 mins
