Boot Camp Workout Of The Week – Queens Park Boot Camp
Hey guy's,
Great workout at the Queens Park boot camp this week.
We started the workout with a total body circuit working all the major movement patterns, which also included a few bodyweight cardio exercises to get the heart pumping.
These circuits are great for toning your muscles, elevating your heart rate, burning calories and putting your body into fat burning mode.
Here’s the workout…
60 seconds per station
15 seconds transition between stations
2 sets of each exercise
Upper body push = Mix hand position push up’s with a twist
Upper body pull = Olympic ring rows
Cardio = Med-ball burpee with slam ball
Core = Crab walk through ladder (plank variation)
Lower body push = Depth jumps
Lower body pull = Kettlebell swings
Cardio = Shuttle runs
We followed circuit training with a mixture of bodyweight strength training and sprint training, again these type of workouts are unparalleled for their fat burning abilities and actually burn up to nine times more fat than traditional steady state cardio.
Next week we’ll be videoing our Bondi Beach boot camp, nothing beats soft sand running and circuit training to get you in killer shape – fast.
Be sure to come and visit this blog to watch our next workout.
Till next time – train hard!
